During today's Shareholder's meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open on August 29th at Disney's Hollywood Studios and May 31st at Disneyland.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will open on the August 29th date with Rise of the Resistance opening later in 2019.
Height requirements were also announced today:
- Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run will have a 38" Height Requirement
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will have a 40" Height Requirement
Fastpass+ will not be available at Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run when it first opens nor at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance when it opens later this year.
Disneyland guests will also be required to make a no cost reservation to see the land from May 31st – June 23rd and it is unknown if Disney's Hollywood Studios will undergo a similar requirement.
