Various reports suggest a technical issue with the attraction has caused the shut down. BlogMickey.com is reporting that the attraction will receive a full replacement of the magnetic linear induction motors across the entire track.
Internal documents indicate that the attraction will remain closed through October.

Cast Members in the area advised Blog Mickey that the replacement could take “a month or more”. They are clear to classify this as a rumor citing only a front line cast member as the source.
