The main A-frame tower of Disney’s Contemporary Resort will undergo a refurbishment from April – September. The refurbishment appears to be for maintenance and room upgrades in the main tower rooms.
Guests with existing reservations will be relocated to the adjacent Bay Lake Tower or another deluxe resort.

February 10, 2021: Disney has confirmed that Disney’s Contemporary Resort will close for refurbishment beginning in April.
January 18, 2021: On the latest Episode of the Disney Dish Podcast, Len Testa announced that Disney’s Contemporary Resort will close for refurbishment from April – September of this year. The refurbishment appears to be for maintenance and room upgrades in the main tower rooms.
