An update is coming to the 360-degree O Canada! show at Epcot’s Canada Pavilion called Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360. The new show will debut January 17, 2020
“Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” in the Canada pavilion is an update to the previous “O Canada!” film with new scenes, a new musical score by Canadian composer Andrew Lockington and new narration by award-winning actors Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy.
The venue will be transformed into festival space as part of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival (running from August 29 – November 24, 2019).

January 14, 2020: @Attractions Magazine posted to Twitter that the Canada Far and Wide features mild humor and the narrators do not appear on screen.

December 3, 2019: At a press event held Tuesday, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek announced that three shows currently in development at Epcot will debut on January 17, 2020:

August 25, 2019: During the Parks and Resorts presentation at the 2019 D23 Expo, Bob Chapek confirmed the name of the new show will be Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 and it will open in January 2020.
August 19, 2019: WDWMagic.com user marni1971 is reporting that the Parks and Resorts presentation at the D23 Expo (scheduled for August 25th) is expected to be Epcot heavy and include the following updates:
- Details on the Circle Vision films in China and Canada
- The United Kingdom attraction
- The update to Spaceship Earth
- The updates to Future World
- Updates and a name for the long term fireworks show that will follow Epcot Forever
July 31, 2019: O Canada! had it’s last day of operation.
June 28, 2019: WDWMagic.com user marni1971 is reporting that the O Canada theater will close August 1st.
June 28, 2019: The Disney Parks Blog revealed that the O Canada! space will be used during Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival as a Festival space while Disney prepares the new film. The Festival runs from August 29 – November 24th.
May 13, 2019: WDWNT.com is reporting that the following films will debut in January 2020 as part of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts:
- New Seamless Circle-Vision 360 film for the China Pavilion.
- New Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-long in the France Pavilion.
- New Circle-Vision 360 film for the Canada Pavilion. An additional note on this from the article indicates that the film likely will not be seamless and is unlikely to feature Martin Short.
- New Awesome Planet show for The Land Pavilion.
December 3, 2018: On Episode 190 of the Disney Dish Podcast, Jim Hill states that Martin Short is expected to return for the updated O Canada film. The film may feature old and new footage and a new recording of the O Canada song. It is expected to open in late 2019/early 2020.
November 17, 2018: At the D23 Destination D Event, Bob Chapek (Chairman of Disney Parks, Events, Consumer Products) announced an update is coming to the 360-degree O Canada! show at Epcot’s Canada Pavilion.
