    Disney has revealed concept art for the new entrance to Epcot. The entrance will see new pathways, a reimagined fountain and “fresh takes on classic elements”. The Leave A Legacy photos will move to a new setting outside the park’s gateway in an attempt to have the main entrance pay homage to the original park entrance.

    The project code name for the entrance redesign is “Project G/Project Gamma”

    August 3, 2019: BlogMickey.com is reporting that removal of the remaining Leave a Legacy monuments will begin on August 6, 2019.

    June 18, 2019: The West side Leave a Legacy monoliths are removed and the walls are down in the area. The lights and concrede pads remain in the area. The expectation is that the East side will be removed next and then the new flowerbeds and pathways will be constructed. BlogMickey.com has posted photos of the area.

    May 17, 2019: WDWMagic.com is reporting that construction walls will go up this weekend at Epcot’s entrance. This work will be to remove the Leave a Legacy tiles and work on the entrance redesign.

    March 4, 2019: BlogMickey.com is reporting that Disney has filed permits with the state for construction on the Epcot entrance. The presumption is that this is for the removal of the Leave a Legacy monoliths. The project code name for the entrance redesign is “Project G”
