At the 2019 D23 Expo, Disney announced that Journey of Water, a new exploration trail inspired by the movie Moana would be coming to Epcot. However, the project may be modified, delayed or cancelled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The project is still being presented at the EPCOT Experience presentation and we are continuing to classify it as “Confirmed”.
The attraction will feature interactive water fountains and be located in the current Future World West near The Seas With Nemo and Friends Pavilion. This area will be a part of World Nature when the experience debuts.
To make way for the new experience, The Art of Disney location in Future World was relocated to the American Adventure Pavilion.

Details of specific projects that may be subject to delay or cancellation were not stated, but construction on all ongoing Walt Disney World projects was suspended shortly after the park closure in March.
It is unknown if the Journey of Water attraction will be cancelled or delayed as a result of the reduction in capital expenditures.
