A new restaurant called Jaleo is opening March 17, 2019 on the West Side, the new restaurant concept by chef Jose Andres’ ThinkFoodGroup highlights the flavors of Spain.
In addition to the Jaleo table service restaurant, a new sandwich location will be attached to Jaleo called Pepe. Pepe inspired by the ThinkFoodGroup food truck of the same name and will feature an extensive menu of hot and cold Spanish-style sandwiches including bocatas and bikinis. Pepe is also expected to open this winter.

March 14, 2019: The Disney Parks Blog announced that Jaleo at Disney Springs’ West Side will debut on March 17th. The restaurant will feature small plates (tapas) of Spain from the mind of chef Jose Andres.
January 23, 2019: In a press release, Disney announced a new sandwich location that will be a part of the Jaleo restaurant complex called Pepe. Pepe is also expected to debut this Spring.

- Unnamed Tony Mantuano Restaurant– A replacement for Portobello Country Italian Trattoria, the restaurant will feature dishes inspired by “Top Chef Master” Chef Tony Mantuano’s adventures in Italy
May 2, 2017: WDWMagic.com is reporting that the new restaurant will not be announced until the press event being held in late May.
April 26, 2017: WDWMagic.com is reporting that a new restaurant will soon be announced at Disney Springs’ West Side. The restaurant is expected to replace an existing facility.
