‘Enchanted Rose’ Bar and Lounge Coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

    A new Beauty and the Beast inspired bar called “Enchanted Rose” is coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The new bar will be located on the second floor of the lobby in the former Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s area.

    The official opening date is October 8, 2019.

    The expansion began in April 2019 with the closure of the adjacent Commander Porter’s shop on April 4, 2019. Work on the expansion is expected to be complete by Fall 2019. During the closure of Mizner’s Lounge, a temporary lounge will be setup near the Garden View Tea Room on the ground floor.

    Is will reopen drawing inspiration from Beauty and the Beast.

    The signature bar will glow from the light of a magnificent gold chandelier that takes its inspiration from Belle’s flowing ball gown, with subtle nods to the Beast’s magical rose. The formal library showcases classical baroque designs and French furnishings inspired by Belle, with hints of the Beast’s friends. The garden room will be a whimsical space that draws its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding Beast’s castle. And an outdoor patio will evoke the romance of Beast’s garden terrace.

    September 11, 2019: The Disney Parks Blog officially announced the name of the new Beauty and the Beast inspired bar coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The new bar will be called Enchanted Rose and is located on the second floor of the lobby (replacing Mizner’s Lounge).

    The bar will have some shareable food options as well as specialty drinks.

    Dining options include:

    • Artisanal cheese selection with pine nut bread and raisins or enjoy an exquisite dish of white sturgeon caviar served with egg timbale, crème fraiche, and chives
    • Mini Smoked Short Rib Sliders with glacier blue cheese and onion marmalade on brioche buns
    • Espelette Pepper-Spiced Shrimp
    • Octopus a la Plancha with black olives, blistered tomatoes, and fingerling potatoes
    • Truffle fries
    • House-made flatbread pizza

    Beverages include:

    • Island Rose with grapefruit and rose vodka, lime, orgeat, pineapple, bitters, and rose water
    • Lavender Fog (dry gin, crème de violette, English breakfast tea, vanilla, and cream)
    • Garden Daisy (tequila, midori, lime, egg white, and cucumber)
    • Garden Cocktail (non-alcoholic spirit, lime juice, agave nectar, and soda)
    • B&B (non-alcoholic, fresh-brewed iced tea, lemon, blueberry, and basil)
    • Rosemary Cooler (non-alcoholic, Odwalla lemonade, vanilla, and rosemary).

    The lounge will also be pouring an extensive collection of wine and Champagne by the glass as well as martinis, spirits, beer and cider.

    April 12, 2019: Mizner’s Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa recently closed to make way for a new Beauty and the Beast inspired bar and lounge. The Disney Parks Blog shared the first piece of concept art for the new space that will also take over Commander Porter’s as part of the four unique spaces that will make up the new lounge.

    March 20, 2019: WDWMagic.com is reporting that Disney will be expanding Mizner’s Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
