Country Bear Jamboree is rumored to receive updates for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Details are unknown on what these updates might be.
July 6, 2020: On the most recent episode of the Disney Dish podcast, Jim Hill goes into detail on some of the proposed changes coming to potentially controversial areas of the theme parks. One area mentioned was the Country Bear Jamboree. He specifically cited the song “Mama Don’t Whip Little Buford”.

June 28, 2019: The Disney Parks Blog confirmed that The Country Bear Jamboree is not “going into hibernation any time soon.” They clarified further that the attraction is expected to be operating on October 1, 2021 as part of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.
June 20, 2019: WDWMagic.com user MagicButler84 is reporting that there is legitamacy to the Country Bear Jamboree being replaced.
June 17, 2019: WDWNT.com is reporting that the Country Bear Jamboree is rumored to be replaced by a Toy Story Marionette/Animatronic stage show. The show would be inspired by the Woody’s Roundup show featured in Toy Story 2. If it happens, this is expected to be part of the 50th Anniversary offerings in 2021.
