    March 11, 2021: The Orlando Sentinel (Paywall) is reporting that Brightline will begin operation in 5 years with a station at Disney Springs.

    December 23, 2020:BizJournals.com is reporting that Brightline trains is anticipating completion in the second half of 2023.

    November 23, 2020: The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Brightline trains will have a station at Disney Springs.

    January 16, 2020: WFTV.com is reporting that the first set of tracks for the new Virgin Brightline train have been laid between Orlando International Airport and West Palm Beach.

    December 17, 2019: The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Disney and Brightline are in advanced discussions over a station on or near Disney World property.

    May 21, 2019: The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that construction has begun on the train project.

    April 4, 2019: Virgin America has announced plans to connect a high speed train between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World as part of a new train that will run from Southern to Central Florida.
