    A new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along show will be coming to Epcot’s France Pavilion.

    The show will be created by Don Hahn, the producer of both the animated and live-action Beauty and the Beast films and will share theater space with Impressions de France. The expectation is the two shows would alternate.

    RUMOR TIMELINE

    September 11, 2019: WDWMagic.com user marni1971 is reporting that Impressions de France will close on October 2, 2019 for the installation of new infrastructure. It will reopen in early 2020.

    August 25, 2019: During the Parks and Resorts presentation at the 2019 D23 Expo, Bob Chapek confirmed a January 2020 Opening date.

    May 13, 2019: WDWNT.com is reporting that the following films will debut in January 2020 as part of the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts:

    • New Seamless Circle-Vision 360 film for the China Pavilion.
    • New Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-long in the France Pavilion.
    • New Circle-Vision 360 film for the Canada Pavilion. An additional note on this from the article indicates that the film likely will not be seamless and is unlikely to feature Martin Short.
    • New Awesome Planet show for The Land Pavilion.

    November 17, 2018: At the D23 Destination D Event, Bob Chapek (Chairman of Disney Parks, Events, Consumer Products) announced a new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along show will be coming to Epcot’s France Pavilion.

    The show will be created by Don Hahn, the producer of both the animated and live-action Beauty and the Beast films and will be in addition to Impressions de France and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
