The Walt Disney World Monorail is an iconic mode of transportation for the guests of Walt Disney World.
Guests can board one of 12 trains that travel across 3 lines that all use the Transportation and Ticket Center as a central hub.
Each train features six passenger cars that measure 203 feet long. Each train can be identified by the colored stripe that runs along the outside.
The three lines of the monorail are as follows
- Express Line – Connecting guests directly from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Magic Kingdom.
- Resort Line – Follows the same path as the Express Line but stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Magic Kingdom.
- Epcot Line – Connecting guests directly from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot.
