New Star Wars Merchandise Coming to Disney Parks in Fall 2016


The Disney Parks Blog announced several new Star Wars-inspired items coming to Disney Parks this fall. Items include the following:

  • Imperial Comlink Bluetooth Communicator – Inspired by the device used in the trash compactor by Luke Skywalker in Episode IV: A New Hope, the bluetooth communicator allows you to take calls and play music when it's connected to your smart phone/device.
  • Remote Controlled Mouse Droid – inspired by a droid in Episode IV: A New Hope that Chewbacca roars at while on the death star. It's a remote controlled droid that makes sounds (Available mid-December).
  • Dooney & Bourke Rogue One Handbags – A series of handbags inspired by the upcoming Rogue One film. Available at Legends of Hollywood in Disney's Hollywood Studios (Available October 17)
  • Astromech Droid Action Figures – Currently the R2-B00 figure is available and the R2-H16 figure will be available during the holiday season
  • Droid Blankets – featuring R2-D2 and BB-8.
  • Ewok Plush – The second collection of Ewoks include a variant of Wicket, Tokkat, Latara, Widdle, Shodu and Winda. The basket will also include Kaink who will be available in December.
  • Starspeeder 1000 playset – The playset returns with a new destination disk featuring Jakku. When the disk is placed in the screen of the vehicle users can hear dialogue from Star Tours – The Adventures Continue.
