New Merchandise Rides Into Downtown Disney West Side for Car Masters Weekend on June 14-15, 2014

Car Masters Weekend is returning to Downtown Disney on June 14 and 15th. The Disney Parks Blog showcased the logo for this year's event as well as some of the merchandise that will include this logo.

Chip Foose, custom car designer will be returning to the event this year and will be meeting with guests each day at D-Street from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Chip will be signing prints of his take on this year’s Car Masters Weekend artwork shown above (you’ll notice it’s slightly different than the top image). Guests will receive a wristband upon purchasing the artwork which will allow them to meet Chip and have their artwork signed. The queue for guests with wristbands will start at 10:00 am in front of D-Street.

Guests can also meet the filmmakers of “Planes: Fire & Rescue,” the upcoming film from Disneytoon Studios. Director/co-writer Robert Gannaway and producer Ferrell Barron, will be giving a special conversation each day at the event stage in Downtown Disney's West Side. Guests can meet with them and have them sign the new “Planes: Fire & Rescue” books. The schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, June 14 – Conversation will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. with the meet and greet starting at 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 15 – Conversation will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. with the meet and greet starting at 1:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Other offerings during Car Master Weekends include:

  • Disney Character Meet ‘n’ Greet – Snap some pictures and get to know a few of your favorite Disney Characters.
  • Downtown Disney Car Show – Lock your eyes on classic and exotic cars—pick your favorites and see which ones win awards.
  • Auto Personality Appearances – Fill up your schedule with special appearances and autographs from automotive celebrities.
  • Car Masters Merchandise – Take the event home with a purchase from a large selection of event merchandise.
  • Exotic Driving Experience – Get up close to real-life supercars and learn how you can get behind the wheel at Walt Disney World Speedway.
