ABOUT

Epcot’s World Showcase celebrates the cultures of eleven different nations from around the world. Each of the eleven pavilions offers dining and shopping, and most pavilions offer attractions and/or entertainment.

The World Showcase is home to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival every fall and it also participates in the Flower and Garden Festival every spring.

In addition to the eleven countries represented in World Showcase, there is also Showcase Plaza which features shopping and dining as well as Friendship Landing boat launches to multiple destinations in World Showcase. Another area of World Showcase is the African Outpost that features animal carvings as well as the Refreshment Cool Post snack stand.

The International Gateway is a “back entrance” to Epcot sandwiched between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions. Guests at the Epcot Resorts can enter through this entrance and either walk to their resort or take a Friendship Boat.

Every evening, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth takes place in World Showcase Lagoon. The show features fireworks, lasers, water fountains and the Earth globe.
