Toy Story Land takes guests into Andy’s backyard where guests feel like they’ve been shrunk to the size of a Green Army Man. Around the land, guests will see that Andy has setup blocks, game board pieces and other toys around his backyard.
Part of the land includes the existing attraction, Toy Story Mania!. The entrance to the attraction was relocated from it’s now extinct Pixar Place location upon the debut of the land.
The land’s other two attractions are Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash.
Alien Swirling Saucers is a classic whip ride where guests sit in a flying saucer pulled by the Little Green Aliens while the claw looms overhead. Music and lighting add to the ambiance of the attraction.
Slinky Dog Dash is a launched family coaster where guests ride on the back of Slinky Dog through the toys and landscape of the land. Andy has built the track using his Mega Coaster Play Kit.
In addition to the attractions there are meet and greet opportunities with Woody, Buzz and Jessie as well as Sarge and the Green Army Patrol.
Guests can dine at Woody’s Lunch Box and purchase merchandise at one of two kiosks located inside the land. Additional Toy Story Land merchandise can also be found at Beverly Sunset on Sunset Boulevard.
The area occupied by Toy Story Land was originally backstage as well as a portion of the Studio Backlot Tour.
