Dinoland USA is a modern day land with prehistoric references and components throughout. The land is divided into two areas, the Dino Institute area and Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama.
Inside the land, guests can find shopping, dining, carnival games and multiple attractions. The Dino Institute area is dominated by the DINOSAUR attraction. Students at the Dino Institute invented time travel decades earlier and they offer tours of the early Cretaceous Period. Nearby, guests can visit the skeleton, Dino Sue or walk the Cretaceous Trail. The quick service restaurant, Restaurantosaurus offers standard theme park faire and is adorned with makeshift Dinosaur themed decorations.
Across from Restaurantosaurus, a small animal exhibit features an American Crocodile, Asian Brown Tortoise and Abdim’s Storks.
The Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama section is a more whimsical approach to Dinosaurs, as enterprising couple Chester and Hester sought to profit from the tourists visiting The Dino Institute with a roadside carnival. The carnival features games, as well as a small roller coaster, Primeval Whirl and a spinner attraction, TriceraTop Spin.
On the outskirts of Dinoland USA is the Theater in the Wild, over the years this has been home to multiple shows and currently houses Finding Nemo the Musical.
The friendliest fossils in America.
