    There is a sign in the alley between Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and Liberty Tree Tavern that reads, “Kepple est. 1779.” This is the name of Walt and Roy’s grandfather, Kepple Disney.He was born on November 2, 1832 in Kilkenny, Ireland.
