ABOUT
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is an annual event that takes place every spring throughout EPCOT. EPCOT is decorated with a selection of topiaries and is home to a number of special events. The Flower Power Concert Series highlights musical acts of the 60s, 70s and 80s and the Outdoor Kitchens that debuted in 2013 offer seasonal snacks around World Showcase.
Guests can also participate in themed scavenger hunts around EPCOT and maps for the scavenger hunt as well as other festival offerings can be found at pop up shops and the following locations.

Show 2021 Details
The 2021 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place between March 3 – June 5, 2021.
Character topiaries returned throughout the park including the following:
- Sorcerer Mickey Mouse at the park’s main entrance
- Lady and the Tramp in the Italy pavilion
- Anna and Elsa in the Norway pavilion
- Remy in the France pavilion
- Tinker Bell and the Fairy Houses in the United Kingdom pavilion
Several outdoor gardens are on display throughout the park:
- English Tea Garden Presented by Twinings of London in the United Kingdom pavilion, which also offers a Self-Guided Tea Tour.
- The Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGo squeeZ, offering a kaleidoscopic view of butterflies up close, in all their extraordinary color.
- Growing the Future Presented by Murata Electronics, a fun and fascinating experience exploring how cutting-edge technology paired with agricultural science can transform the future (beginning April 3).
- Health Full Trail Presented by AdventHealth, where those looking for inspiration, creativity and some youthful energy learn ways to stay healthy.
- Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board, where guests learn about honey bees’ critical role in the environment while enjoying sweet and savory treats made possible by their hard work.
- Outdoor Escapes Presented by OFF! Repellents, a rustic terrace for guests to unwind and find inspiration to create refreshing outdoor spaces for family and friends.
The Garden Rocks Concert Series did not return in 2021 due to COVID-19 Concerns, but other live music was available throughout the festival:
- New this year, featured musical groups from the Orlando area perform songs of yesterday and today at America Gardens Theatre every Friday through Monday of the festival.
- Voices of Liberty perform an all-American a cappella showcase at America Gardens Theatre, celebrating the landscape, heart and human spirit of America.
- Mariachi Cobre takes the America Gardens Theatre stage for performances of world-famous Mexican folk music.
- The Jammin’ Gardeners play rhythmic beats with inspired backyard percussion on the Mill Stage at the Canada pavilion.
- In World Showplace, the EPCOT Pianist plays a selection of popular songs ideal for springtime.
Multiple scavanger hunts are available for guests:
- Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration – Gardeners of all ages follow Spike on his pollination trail, where he will be busy as a bee collecting nectar and pollinating gardens throughout EPCOT. (Map purchase required, available while supplies last at select retail locations.)
- Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt (Beginning March 19) – Guests set out on a delightful hunt across the park for decorative eggs inspired by Disney characters. (Map purchase required, available while supplies last at select retail locations for a limited time.)
- Garden Graze – Guests who purchase five festival menu items from select locations receive a complimentary commemorative keepsake; guests can pick up a Festival Passport to get started.
Merchandise offerings are highlighted by several familiar characters:
- Orange Bird welcomes the sunshine with all things yellow, orange and white in a bright collection of apparel, drinkware and a headband.
- Spike the Bee offers sweet reminders of festival fun, featured on apparel, drinkware and an adorable garden stake.
- Minnie Mouse lives life in full bloom with a collection of apparel, headwear, garden accessories and MagicBand.
- Figment brings sustainable materials such as organic cotton, bamboo and repurposed paper to a collection featuring apparel, accessories and more.

Show 2020 Details
The 2020 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival was schedule to take place between March 4 – June 1, 2020. However, the event was cut short due to the Coronavirus. Many of the topiaries stayed up when the park re-opened on July 15, 2020 and were showcased as part of that year’s EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
The information below details what was scheduled for the event. The event includes the Garden Rocks Concert Series, a selection of topiaries, appearances by celebrities, outdoor kitchens and more.
The Garden Rocks Concert Series performs three times (5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 PM) nightly at the America Gardens Theatre.

- Fleur De Lys (France): oranges, grapefruits, rosemary, parsley and onion.
- Hanami (Japan): coconut, red cabbage, mangos, pineapple, strawberries, soy beans.
- Jardin de Fiesta (Mexico): jalapenos, cilantro, lime, avocado, onions, hibiscus.
- Lotus House (China): guava, peaches, ginger, tea, strawberries, oranges.
- Pineapple Promenade: pineapple, sugar cane, lemons, taro, Australian violet.
- Morocco: mint, cucumber and tomatoes.
- Bauernmarkt (Germany): peas, asparagus, paprika, potatoes, leeks and mint.
- Intermission Cafe: grapes, greens, tomatoes and cucumber.
- Primavera (Italy): lemons, tomatoes, olive tree, oregano, rosemary and spinach.
- SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue & Brews: pecans, cabbage, collards, corn, jalapenos and potatoes.
- La Isla Fresca (Caribbean): guava, mangos, pigeon peas, chayote squash, papaya, lime and cilantro.
- Cider House (United Kingdom): apples, lemons, field greens.
Other elements included topiaries, playgrounds, and gardens. These included:
- The first-ever Huey, Dewey and Louie topiaries inspired by the 1943 Donald Duck comic book, “The Victory Garden”. They were on display at Epcot’s entrance alongside Donald and Daisy.
- A new Music Garden Melodies musical playground featured “band leader” Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck topiaries. The playground had interactive drums, chimes, and xylophones designed for children to interact and play music.
- The Cactus Road Rally playground inspired by the movie “Cars” returned for 2016 with topiaries of Mater and Lightning McQueen
- Fun Fresh Weekends took place throughout the Flower and Garden Festival:
- April 1-3 — Art in the Garden Weekend spotlighted nature through the works of plain air artists
- April 8-10 – The new Family Fun Weekend presented outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy and a Festival Center focused on bugs with Disney’s Animal Kingdom specialists
- April 22-24 – Earth Day Weekend celebrated our planet with special appearances and activities
- April 29-May 1—Florida Fresh Weekend featured the state’s edible bounty from Apalachicola to Zellwood.
- A Floral Sun garden and yellow “sunbursts” sprouted in a new Future World topiary garden featuring Minnie Mouse and Pluto.
- The Ranger Mickey topiary garden in Future World was presented by the National Parks Service and provided photo opportunities for guests.
- Anna and Elsa topiaries were on display in front of the Norway pavilion and nearly 100 other topiary characters including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, Simba, and Peter Pan were on display throughout Epcot. Each of the gardens were illuminated with twinkling lights each evening.
- A new edible flower garden was on display near The Land pavilion.
- The Butterflies on the Go garden returned and featured butterflies emerging from the chrysalises.
- At the Festival Center, guests could enjoy complimentary Gardening Seminars throughout the event.

The butterfly garden returned for 2015, and younger guests could participate in Butterflies on the Go! This allowed those younger guests the chance to see up to 10 species of butterflies up close.

The Garden Rocks Concert Series continues the line of concert series associated with the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. Beginning in 2015, the name was changed from the Flower Power Concert Series tot he Garden Rocks Concert Series.
