ABOUT
Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats were a small diversion attraction where guests could guide remote control boats that represented miniature versions of the boats used on the Jungle Cruise attraction.
Guests had to purchase tokens to play the game. Two tokens were required to play and the tokens were $1 a piece or six for $5.
The attraction was removed in favor of added elements for the Pirates Adventure: Jewels of the Seven Seas interactive game.
STORY
At Shrunken Ned’s Junior Jungle Boats, guests took the helm of one of sixteen remote controlled boats via a wheel affixed to the dock. Each wheel was numbered and controled the corresponding boat that was floating in the water. Guests could steer the boats in and around totem polls, elephant statues, idols, and even a volcano.
A defined path was lined by spears sticking out of the water but the boats were not intended to race. Guests could steer the boats in any direction along the path.
The 16 boats were as follows:
- Amazon Annie
- Congo Connie
- Bomokandi Bertha
- Mongala Millie
- Ganges Gertie
- Kwango Kate
- Volta Val
- Nile Nellie
- Orinoco Ida
- Ucyali Lolly
- Sankuru Sadie
- Rutshuru Ruby
- Irrawaddy Irma
- Senegal Sal
- Wamba Wanda
- Zambesi Zelda
