Disney No Longer Requiring Masks to be Worn Outdoors


Beginning May 15th, masks will not be required outdoors at Walt Disney World. Masks will still be required while indoors and while queuing for and riding attractions. The policy specifications are as follows:

Face Coverings Required

  • Upon entering and throughout all attractions
  • All theaters, including theater entrances
  • All transportation, including transportation entrances
  • All indoor locations, including restaurants, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary

Face Coverings Optional

  • Outdoor common areas
  • Pool decks

Walt Disney World Cast Members will still be wearing masks both indoors and outdoors.
