Disability Access Service to be Integrated Into My Disney Experience App on April 27

KennyThePirate.com is reporting that the Disability Access Service (DAS) card will be integrating with the My Disney Experience mobile application.

It does not appear that guests will be able to make reservations at in park kiosks or on their smart phones, but the system will work with Magic Bands. The process will be as follows:

1. The disabled guest will visit guest relations and get their photo taken as normal. The access will be allowed for the guest and five additional guests for a total of six guests.

2. Any member of the party can visit an attraction and have their Magic Band scanned for all members of their party. The scan will give them a return time electronically. This replaces the previous system where the cast member would write the return time on the DAS card.

3. All guests (including the disabled guest) will return after the appropriate time and enter the Fastpass+ queue using their Magic Bands to gain entrance.

It is unknown if exceptions to the maximum of 6 guests will be made in the event that more than 6 guests are present in their party at the time of issue.
