The Disney Parks Blog revealed details on upcoming dining changes at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
In May, the Market at Ale & Compass debuted as a quick service location inside the resort. A small merchandise location will be added to this later in the month.
The new Ale & Compass lobby lounge is set to debut in October with 58 seats. Offerings will include cocktails and “light bites”.
The bigger change is coming to the Captain's Grille which is being expanded and renamed to the Ale & Compass Restaurant. Per the Disney Parks Blog:
The re-imagined restaurant will have a gastropub ambience with New England-inspired comfort food, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An on-stage hearth oven is the focal point. Decor is inspired by the cozy warmth of a lighthouse, as a comforting respite from the outside world. The casual, table-service restaurant is on the Disney Dining Plan.
