The BaseLine Tap House officially opened today in the newly renamed Grand Avenue section of the park. The area was formerly part of the Streets of America but has since been redesigned to be representative of modern Los Angeles. The pub itself is located in the former Writer's Stop area.
The backstory of the the pub is reflected in the details inside. It retains details from the building's previous tenant, the Figueroa Printing Company. Printing equipment and exposed walls can be found inside with a shaded terrace on the outside.
A series of prints from the Storybookland Canal Boats at Disneyland can be seen over the bar at various stages of coloring/printing. The style is similar to that still used at the Hatch Show Print location in Nashville, Tennessee.
BlogMickey.com posted several photos of the new area.
As part of the opening of Grand Avenue, the Muppets Courtyard that includes Muppet*Vision 3-D, PizzeRizzo, Mama Melrose's and surrounding shops became reclassified as part of Grand Avenue.
