Slinky Dog Dash puts guests on the back of Slinky Dog on a roller coaster ride through the landscape and toys of Andy’s backyard.

Guests ride a Slinky Dog themed ride vehicle through Andy’s backyard on a family friendly coaster. The attraction features a coaster track that Andy has built using his Mega Coaster Play Kit.

Spare pieces of coaster track can be seen against the facade of the attraction and the coaster track travels around the entire land. Andy has combined the play kit with other toys that are all integrated with the ride. It begins with a right turn out of the station followed by a launch into an overbanked turn. The train travels over the landscape before circling around Rex and Jessie in a helix.

The helix leads guests over the terrain into another overbanked turn before turning to approach the second launch. The second launch resembles a Matchbox car air powered launch. The vehicle comes to a stop, rolls backwards slightly before launching forward.

The launch leads into another overbanked turn followed by some bunny hop hills and a few other maneuvers before the final scene.

A break run leads into the final scene where Wheezy the penguin is singing You’ve Got a Friend in Me.

Take off on a family-friendly coaster as Slinky Dog’s coils twist around curves, hills and drops.

The outdoor queue features large oversized toy props and games. The colorful design is reminiscent of the rest of the land and includes oversized K’nex and Construx buildign pieces as well as spare pieces of roller coaster track left by Andy.

The queue travels under a marquee for the Slinky Dog pull toy that inspired the attraction and in that covered area are instructions for building the toy roller coaster. Andy’s illustrations and toy boxes line the queue along with crayons, Elmer’s glue and other details that might be found in a child’s back yard.

The load area features illustrations from Andy on white lined paper that shows his layout of the attraction. Guests can view the load station as well as the track from the queue and throughout the land.

The vehicles are inspired by Slinky Dog from the Toy Story films.

The coaster trains seat 18 guests. There are four middle sections each with two rows that seat two guests. The tail section has a single row that seats two guests. Offboard audio plays sounds of Slinky Dog at various points of the ride and Slinky Dog’s tail moves along with the motion of the ride vehicle.
