Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure shrinks guests down to the size of Chef Remy for an adventure through Gusteau’s restaurant.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is an adventure through Gusteau’s Parisian restaurant as featured in the Disney Pixar movie Ratatouille.
Guests shrink down to the size of Chef Remy the rat as they sit in their rat shaped vehicles on the adventure around the kitchen. The attraction is multilingual, with dialogue in both French and English.
After leading the load area the rat vehicles proceed to a Parisian rooftop. Gusteau informs us that Chef Remy is waiting for us. Remy greets us in the next scene to discuss what meal should be prepared. He realizes he should prepare Ratatouille and as he comes to that realization he accidentally opens the skylight on the roof sending himself and our vehicles down the window into the kitchen.
Remy scurries around the kitchen and we follow underneath machinery and carts as Linguini and the other employees try to avoid us. We move into a storage area where giant foods surround us. A few rats can be seen in a refrigerator as we move to the next scene.
We emerge from underneath the shelves and Linguini spots us again. He tries to hide us from Chef Skinner and brushes us underneath a gas oven. We then move to a serving cart that’s wheeled out into the dining room. Chef Skinner spots Remy and Linguini jumps in on roller skates to get us out of the way. We disappear into the wall as Chef Skinner tries to grab us.
We approach a pair of mouse traps and Chef Skinner reaches in and gets his hand stuck in one of the traps as we back away. We continue to move through the walls before emerging on Remy’s prep table as Remy and several other rats are joined by Linguini in preparing a meal.
A blast from a champagne bottle sends us to a table where Remy’s family is enjoying a meal. Remy thanks us before the vehicles continue to the exit.
The EPCOT attraction is virtually identical Ratatouille: The Adventure at Walt Disney Studios Paris.
Children, guests of all ages.
TIMES GUIDE - OPENING/CLOSING
This attraction opens with the park.
The vehicles are shaped like rats and feature two rows of seating that can each fit 2-3 guests per row.
The attraction was added as an expansion to the original France Pavilion. The bulk of the attraction building resides on an original expansion pad between the Morocco and France Pavilions.
The trackless component is similar to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and components of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Other vehicle movements are similar to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
