Construction walls are up around Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Discovery Island in particular is covered in construction walls as Disney aims to improve the pathways for nighttime entertainment and other activities. Walls are up on both the Disney Outfitters and Island Mercantile sides of Discovery Island as guests walk towards the Tree of Life.
While cranes for Avatar can be seen from the parking lot, there isn’t much visible from the park. The lone wall blocks off access to the Avatar section as well as the new table service restaurant being built along side Pizzafari.
Creature Comforts is now closed and will re-open as the Starbucks location for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
