The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and AECOM have released their 2017 attendance numbers for the theme parks around the world. Most notable over the 2016 attendance numbers is the 15.3% jump for Disney's Animal Kingdom due to Pandora: The World of AVATAR. The attendance boost put the estimates for Disney's Animal Kingdom's attendance ahead of Epcot for the first time ever.
Additionally, Shanghai Disneyland being open for a full year put it's attendance in the top 10 theme parks in the world.
