Disney has officially rolled out their new "Memory Maker" program where guests can purchase the Memory Maker service for $199 ($149 in advance). "Memory Maker" is entirely digital in deference to the previous Photo Pass CDs that would be given to guests.
Guests who purchase Memory Maker can roll in on ride photos as well as photos from Photo Pass photographers. Currently for on ride photos, a guest is required to use their Magic Band to link the photo to their Memory Maker purchase, however reports have indicated that this is being done automatically in some cases.
Guests can purchase the Memory Maker service at a discount up to 3 days prior to their trip here.
New attractions are expected to be added to the roster of on ride photos including The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
- The Haunted Mansion: The photo is expected to be taken with the Hitchhiking Ghosts and is expected to be available for purchase at The Yankee Trader. The shop is expected to be converted into a Haunted Mansion themed shop.
- Pirates of the Caribbean: The photo is expected to be taken on the drop and will be available for purchase inside the Pirate's Bazaar shop at the end of the attraction.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: Two photo locations are expected. The first location is expected to be in the long helix and the second location is expected to be in the former Earthquake scene/lift hill area. The photos are expected to be available for purchase inside The Briar Patch.
