The LA Prop Cinema Storage shop on the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard is being converted to a new Starbucks location. The new location will be called The Trolley Car Cafe and will be themed to a classic trolley car station. Offerings will include Disney bakery items as well as Starbucks La Boulange offerings.
The shop has a scheduled refurbishment from June 16, 2014 through February 28, 2015, and the Disney Parks Blog announced the expected opening date as February 4, 2015.
February 4, 2015: The Trolley Car Cafe officially opens
January 30, 2015: The Trolley Car Cafe soft opens to guests.
January 18, 2015: WDWThemeParks.com has posted a photo updated on the Trolley Care Cafe.
January 10, 2015: WDWMagic.com user WDWtraveler posted photos of the exterior and interior of the Trolley Car Cafe. Signage is up on the exterior of the building and the interior looks mostly finished.
September 19, 2014: WDWThemeParks.com posted a photo update of the construction walls for Trolley Car Cafe.
August 29, 2014: The Disney Parks Blog announced that the new location will be known as The Trolley Car Cafe and will be themed to a classic trolley car station. The location will open in February 2015 and will include Disney bakery items as well as Starbucks La Boulange offerings.
June 10, 2014: WDWNT.com has reported that the LA Prop Cinema Storage will become a Starbucks location when it re-opens from it's refurbishment in March of 2015.
May 29, 2014: WDWMagic.com has reported the LA Prop Cinema Storage shop on Hollywood Boulevard is scheduled to undergo a length refurbishment from June 16, 2014 - February 28, 2015. This has resulted in speculation that this location will be converted to the Starbucks location in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
September 4, 2013: The Disney Parks Blog confirmed that additional Starbucks locations would be coming to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney
November 9, 2012: The Disney Parks Blog confirmed that Fountain View Ice Cream and Main Street Bakery would be converted to Starbucks locations, but no additional locations were announced.
