Toy Story Land officially opened this morning to all guests. Guests appeared at the turnstyles hours before official park opening and Disney reportedly allowed guests into the park between 6:00 - 6:30 AM.
Wait times to get into the land snaked around other areas of the park and at some points reached 3 hours to enter the land itself. With the land currently being a dead end guests are forced to enter and exit the land in the same location near Walt Disney Presents.
Posted wait times for Slinky Dog Dash were as high as 300 minutes, while the My Disney Experience Mobile Application consistently showed a wait time of 270 minutes throughout the day. Slinky Dog Dash did close for weather during the early afternoon but reopened after the storm passed.
Alien Swirling Saucers' wait time ranged between 100-150 minutes for most of the day.
Overnight, Disney removed the Pixar Place marquee and the marquee for the Pixar Place entrance for Toy Story Mania! The Toy Story Dept toy shop, Hey Howdy Hey Takeaway and Coffee stand in Pixar Place were all open today, but Pixar Place as a land no longer appeared on the paper park map. Pixar Place is still visible on the mobile version of the map.
Additionally, the Beverly Sunset Boutique reopened today following the April closure of the Sweet Spells bakery. The Beverly Sunset name has appeared on the buildings facade since it opened, but it was primarily known as Sweet Spells prior to reopening. The shop now sells Toy Story merchandise.
