WDWMagic.com is reporting two significant enhancements to the My Disney Experience program. Beginning in April 2016, guests will be able to make Fastpass+ reservations directly from their smart phones after they have used their first three Fastpass+ reservations of the day. This will eliminate the need for many guests to return to the kiosks throughout the park.
The other change is the widespread rollout of StoryMaker. This is the interactive component of MyMagic+. They are reporting that Disney will soon introduce StoryMaker, the long discussed interactive component of MyMagic+. Examples of it's use are as follows:
- "it's a small world"'s final scene would recognize where a guest is from and specialize the goodbye message
- Mickey Mouse would recognize your name at the interactive meet and greet.
A conflicting report came out the same day on Episode 98 of the Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish podcast with Jim Hill, Jim mentioned that he does not anticipate the interactive component of My Disney Experience to take place.
