Story

The story begins with the attraction vehicles, flying pirate ships. Guests board the vehicles on a continuous loading platform and a cast member sprinkles the safety bar with Pixie Dust so that the boats can fly to Never Land.

A left turn out of the load area and a sudden incline takes the boats over the Darling's house as Wendy is sitting with John and Michael in their bedroom. The voice of Peter Pan is heard as we fly outside:

And off we go!

As the pirate ship travels over Nana's doghouse Peter can be heard again:

Come on everybody, here we go! Off to Never Land!

The ship flies over the streets of London. Moving traffic is visible in the streets as the vehicle passes Big Ben and the London Bridge. In the far end of the scene the moon can be seen with the silhouettes of Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael and John flying past. The ship travels past the moon and into the volcanoes and mountains of Never Land.

As the pirate ships weave in and out of the mountains, mermaids and Native Americans are visible. The menacing voice of Captain Hook can be heard in the distance:

Fire Mr. Smee!

After Captain shouts at Smee a cannon blast can be heard. The next scene features Wendy standing at the end of a plank having been captured by pirates. In the background of the boat Mr. Smee is joined by several other pirates in Captain Hook's crew who are intimidating the lost boys. As the vehicle turns a corner the tick tock of the crocodile can be heard as the crocodile appears in the water below. Another turn of the corner reveals that Peter Pan has defeated Captain Hook's crew. Peter Pan is now at the helm of the ship with Wendy, John, and Michael at his side.

The attraction ends with the flying pirate ship flying past Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and the crocodile. Captain Hook has his legs spread on the mouth of the crocodile, balancing precariously for his life. Mr. Smee is nearby in a rowboat as the dialog between the two can be heard as the vehicle approaches the unload area:

Captain Hook: Help me Mr. Smee! Help me!
Mr. Smee: I'm coming Captain!

The final image is a mural of a flying pirate ship before turning into the unload area.

The suspended vehicles are unlike anything currently in Walt Disney World. The now extinct Horizons attraction also featured suspended vehicles.

The ride content is similar to other dark rides like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid.
